Works with: NEATO-FX Target IR & Audio 50 — via Home Assistant for full game scoring, or direct API for standalone installations.
See the Gallery Kit →The NEATO-FX Display 4" brings multiple game configurations and a competitive edge to any attraction — live scoring, countdowns, and a win condition players can get excited about.
This is a fully assembled, ready-to-mount 4" touchscreen display in a custom enclosure, pre-programmed with your game configuration. Plug it into your Home Assistant setup and it works with your NEATO-FX Target IR units.
Gameplay the system supports:
Timed — Players score as many hits as possible before the clock runs out. Timer and score display live on screen.
Shot count — Players get a set number of shots to score. Shot count is adjustable from Home Assistant without touching the display.
Capture the flag — Targets belong to whoever hit them last, changing to that player's color. Most captured targets at the end wins.
Quick time — A target lights up and the first player to hit it scores the points. Rewards reaction speed over volume of fire.
Payment lockout — Displays a lockout screen at the end of each game until payment is received for the next play. Compatible with payment systems like the Nayax VPOS — when payment is accepted, Home Assistant releases the lockout and the next game begins automatically.
Ships with default NeatoFX graphics. Want your own branding? Send us your artwork and we program it before it ships. Non-proprietary hardware — you can update the graphics yourself any time.
Requires Home Assistant with NEATO-FX Target IR for full game scoring. For simpler installations, connects directly to an Audio 50 via API — no server required. Designed and assembled by NeatoFX.

Supported gameplay
Timed
Players score as many hits as possible before the clock runs out. Timer and score display live on screen. When time expires the display holds the final score until reset. Timer length is configurable from Home Assistant.
Shot count
Players get a set number of shots to score. Shot count is displayed and counts down with each hit. Shot limit is adjustable from Home Assistant — no need to touch the display. Final score holds on screen when shots are exhausted.
Capture the flag
Targets belong to whoever hit them last — each target changes to that player's color on hit. At the end of the game, the player with the most captured targets wins. Great for multi-player head-to-head competition.
Quick time
A target lights up and the first player to hit it scores the points. Rewards reaction speed over volume of fire. Works across any number of targets — the display tracks who's winning in real time.
Payment lockout
Display a lockout screen at the end of each game until payment is received for the next play. Designed for commercial venues where each session needs to be paid for. Compatible with payment systems such as the Nayax VPOS — when payment is accepted, Home Assistant releases the lockout and the next game begins automatically.
Standalone — no server required
For simpler installations — museums, interactive exhibits, single-lane attractions — the Display 4" can communicate directly with an Audio 50 via API, triggering sounds without a Home Assistant server. No hub, no extra hardware. Home Assistant is only required when coordinating multiple targets for full game scoring.
Reset and next player
Reset is triggered from Home Assistant or a physical button — clearing the score and resetting the game state for the next player. No touchscreen interaction required during normal operation.
